CLTA, CHANDIGARH : Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association is organizing CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’s (Rs.1 Lakh prize money) from 20th to 24th March, 2023 in its Tennis Stadium, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
Vilasier Khate and Neeraj Yashpaul moved into Pre-Quarterfinals in the Men’s singles. Vilasier Khate defeated Dhananjay Singh 7-5, 6-1 in straight sets. In the 1st set both players played good quality tennis and Vilasier took the 1st set 7-5, in the 2nd set Vilasier used his experience and took the 2nd set and match 6-1 easily. 2nd seed Neeraj Yashpaul won from Anuj Malik in 3 setter marathon match 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Sushant Dabas and Sarthak Suden also advanced into Pre-Quarterfinals in Men’s singles. Sushant Dabas outplayed Gajendra Singh 6-3, 6-3. Other player who moved into Pre-Quarterfinals are Atharva Sharma, Ajay Kundu, Kartik Saxena and Abhishek Gaur.
The Men’s singles and doubles Pre-Quarterfinals matches will be played on Tuesday, the 21st March, 2023 in CLTA Tennis Stadium, Sector 10, Chandigarh at 10:00 A.M. onwards.
