NAIROBI : Kenya was on Wednesday spared an international ban from athletics, although the country will be "monitored closely" by World Athletics due to the spiralling cases.

CHANDIGARH: Pratyaksh Goel became the champion with six points at the conclusion of the 32nd Chandigarh Chess Championship at the Chandigarh Baptist School Sector 45 D, here. The second position was bagged by Anubhav Tuknayat, who scored 5.5 points. The third and fourth position was bagged by Vedant Garg and Swastik Singhal respectively, who also scored 5.5 points.
