CLTA, CHANDIGARH : Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association has organized CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’s (Rs.1 Lakh prize money) from 20th to 24th March, 2023 in its Tennis Stadium, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
4th seed Atharva Sharma lift single title of CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’s (Rs.1 Lakh prize money). Atharva Sharma upset 2nd seed Neeraj Yashpaul in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Atharva played high quality tennis and he varied the shot to beat Neeraj Yashpaul 6-2 in the 1st set without getting much pressure. In the 2nd set Atharva maintained his rhythm. Atharva used his intelligent shot in important points, finally Atharva took the 2nd set and match 6-3.
Mr. Y. Romen Singh, Chief Coach, CLTA distributed the prizes to the winner and runner-up of men’s singles event.
